The Sigma 3D3M MAX SERIES Tile Cutter is an Italian made, professional manual tile cutter. The 3D3M model has been designed to cut a range of tiles up to 20mm thick and is particularly suited to cutting uneven and porcelain tiles. This manual tile cutter is spring loaded with a vibration dampened breaker that can score thicker tiles or those with relief surfaces with less effort and higher accuracy.
The tungsten carbide scoring wheel on the Sigma 3D3M MAX SERIES tile cutter has a ball bearing mounting for a smooth operation and scores the tile by pushing the breaker along the surface of the tile. Moving the breaker handle on the tile cutter upwards quickly breaks the tile while the sprung-loaded base plates absorb the impact.
The Sigma 3D3M MAX SERIES manual tile cutter has a swivelling measurement bar which rotates through 45 degrees in both directions with a scale that accurately determine the angle of cut. This measurement bar has two scales to allow the length of tile to be measured from the centre of the cutting line in either centimetres or inches.
This new 2015 version Sigma 3D3M MAX SERIES tile cutter features a redesigned push lever handle with an extra 2cm of breaking fulcrum that provides greater rigidity during breaking compared to the previous version Sigma 3D2M Tile Cutter.
A quick-change system on the guide rail allows the handle type to be changed to a standard or Klick Klock if required. These extra handles are not supplied with the Sigma 3D3M MAX SERIES tile cutter and must be purchased separately.
The Sigma 3D3M MAX SERIES Tile Cutter weighs 13.5kg. The maximum straight cut length of is 90.5cm and diagonal cuts can be made on tiles measuring up to 64x64cm.
The Sigma 3D3M MAX SERIES Tile Cutter has a breaking strength of 1300kg.
